ok, so this isn't too important but I procrastinate a LOT. How can I stop? I always try to do homework or clean the room or something, but then I just wind up doing something else (normally coming online or writing a story or going for a walk or something)... and then i'm up to all hours doing my homework or cleaning. How do I minimize my procrastination? I know I can stop altogether, and once in awhile I actually do better when I procrastinate, but I need some advice on how to minimize it... I try to set mini goals for myself. Like, I will clean for 30 minutes straight and then have free time for 30 minutes. Or something similiar. It usually works for me

I've always been a big procrastinator, and the thing that works the best for me sounds a little depressing, but it works like a charm. I plan out, and write down everything for the whole day and how long it should take. It's really hard to blow off a written down schedule. Trust me. I'm suddenly the most organized person ever.

If procrastinating gets really bad, I think of something really fun to do . . . and then don't let myself do that until I've finished what needs to be done. Today, for example, I really wanted to read, but I have a big final exam to study for. I banned book reading until after I studied. Now I've studied and still haven't read. Oh well.

Sorry, I can't really help you with that, I'm a procrastinator myself, too!
